25 Days of The Little Things

So, I am bad and forgot to post yesterday BUT I thought about all sorts of good things!

Yesterday's little things:

  • Only needed a oil change (for now) which I was worrying I would need much more expensive work done to car
  • Found $2!!
  • Went grocery shopping and grabbed a bunch of colorful fruits and vegetables including some local HUMONGOUS Honeycrisp apples.
  • Had lunch with new buddies and continued gossiping and gabbing all the way through a professional development session AND through class.
  • The people in my program are pretty fun and I have the Facebook conversation to prove it!
  • Have a partner for my final project in one class and I am thankful it is something that I like.
Today's little things:
  • Actually advised two students while being evaluated. It should have been more students but there was a lot going on today and I am absolutely exhausted and loving it!
  • My hair looks cute since I curled it with my straightening iron.
  • I had a delicious breakfast of vanilla yogurt with a scoop of pumpkin, chia seeds, and Go Crunch! clusters.
  • Got my Netflix movie for the weekend: Get Him to Greek. Very excited!
Hope you all are finding things to be thankful for!

25 Days of The Little Things

This is a completely silly one but.....http://dogs.icanhascheezburger.com/

It always makes me laugh or "awwwww" and it makes my heart warm. I don't have pets so I must live vicariously through other people.

25 Days of The Little Things

Hopefully this goes better than that 30 Days of About Me questions (although I did make it to Day 27).

I have been getting bogged down with a lot of stuff over the past few months. I feel like I have had boulders thrown at me and when that happens, it gets hard to see some of the amazing little things that I should be thankful for. This post from Savvy Eats that stemmed from Grey Matter Life was the perfect inspiration for me to start November off right. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I hope to post a little something or somethings each day that I am grateful for. I will miss some days. I will have trouble thinking of things other days.

But placing a few glowing lights of goodness in my life will be fun! And it will be an excellent way to get into the holiday cheer as the year winds down.

No pictures today but:

I am thankful for the internet connection that allows me do to homework, budget, keep in touch with friends, and procrastinate like a mofo.
